Arlo releases four cameras for the home in new Essential series

Arlo is now updating its segment with home cameras for surveillance, video recording, and motion detection with a new Essential camera series. The four new cameras being released have new features and a 2K resolution. Three of the cameras also have a lower price but at the same time a lower resolution, in full-HD.

The Arlo Video Doorbell is an improvement on the predecessor Doorbell with a choice of 2K or 1080p for video quality. The Real Time Talk feature allows you to see and speak with a visitor over the internet even when you're not at home. The viewing angle is 180 degrees, the aspect ratio is 1:1, and there's the ability to identify people and pets with the help of AI and Arlo's subscription service.

The Arlo Essential Indoor Camera has a 2K resolution, two-way audio, an automatic lens cover to protect privacy. The camera is also compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and several voice assistants.

Features also include two-way audio, built-in 80 dB siren, built-in floodlight, and night vision.

The Arlo Essential 2K Outdoor is available now. Other cameras will be available within a few weeks. Recommended prices including VAT are:
