Polar Pro Defender – smart protective cap with built-in storage

Accessory manufacturer Polar Pro is now releasing a camera body protection cap with storage capability. By utilising the function of the cap on the camera body, they have created a space for additional accessories – which clicks onto the camera body like a lens.

When you open the compartment lid, you can store memory cards such as SD cards, CFexpress cards (Type A), or an Airtag to always be able to see where your camera is located. The space created is in the compartment itself, which is screwed onto the mount, and simply removed just like a regular lens when a lens is to be mounted.

The Polar Pro Defender is therefore camera mount-specific, with compartments for Nikon Z, Canon RF, Canon EF, and Sony E. Each protective unit comes with various interchangeable inserts.

The price is set at 50 dollars, around 570 Swedish krona.
