Voigtländer releases Nokton 50mm F1 Aspherical for Sony E

The Voigtländer Nokton 50mm F1 Aspherical is the name of Cosina's new full-frame lens for Sony E – with an aperture of f/1.0. The lens uses a GA lens (ground aspherical) which simplifies the lens construction. 

The lens has previously been available in this design for Canon RF and in a different version for Leica M. The lens, which is made entirely of metal and has manual focus, features 12 aperture blades for smooth bokeh and a click-stop construction for the aperture ring. The minimum focusing distance is 0.45m, the filter diameter is 67mm, and it weighs 590 grams.

An exact price is not yet available. The lens will be available from March 2024.
