DJI Ronin may be well-known to many - the drone company's own products for stabilized filming through gyroscopic functions. Now, DJI is releasing new products as the Ronin series celebrates its 10th anniversary.
The new DJI RS 4 is a lightweight stabilizer that gives cinematographers the ability to capture stable videos with cameras up to 3 kg. The tilt has been extended compared to previous models to 8.5 mm. When used with the battery grip, the battery life can be extended by 2.5 times.
The lens can be controlled for focus up to 30 percent faster with the DJI Focus Pro Motor connected, while allowing for smoother adjustments. The Joystick Mode Switch enables switching between joystick and gimbal control.
The DJI RS4 Pro can be used with cameras weighing up to 4.5 kg. Through a special Teflon coating with dual ball bearings for roll and tilt, it is possible to achieve extra precise adjustments. The RS4 Pro also features second-generation functions for vertical photography. Other features include an auto-lock OLED screen and axial locks.
The DJI RS 4 Pro has up to 20% stronger motors and can be used to be mounted on a vehicle, for example, and use a special car mode for extra shaky environments.
The DJI Focus Pro is DJI's first LiDAR focusing system. Through the color screen, you can adjust motor parameters while viewing the LiDAR image in real-time. The focus operates over a 70-degree view and minimizes focus hunting and focus in fast sequences.
