In addition to the release of the new Fujifilm X-T50 and GFX100S II, the APS-C lens Fujinon XF 16-50mm F2.8-4.8 R LM WR is also released, consisting of 11 lens elements in 9 groups with three aspherical elements that minimize spherical aberration. Three ED lenses counteract chromatic aberration and the lens aperture has 9 blades for smooth background blur.

The zoom range corresponds to a cutout of 24-76mm in full-frame format. The weight is 240 grams and has been kept down by, among other things, the linear autofocus motor that adjusts the line elements. The filter diameter is 58mm.

The minimum focusing distance is 0.15m (0.3x magnification at 50mm). The lens has internal focusing and a weather-sealed design with 13 rubber seals to keep out moisture and dust.

The lens costs 9,999 SEK including VAT and will start selling in June 2024.
