In conjunction with the release of the new full-frame camera Panasonic Lumix S9, Panasonic is also releasing a new full-frame pancake lens for L-Mount - Lumix S 26mm F8, designated S-R26 - and announces that the Lumix S 18-40 F4.5-6.3 zoom is coming soon.
The term pancake means that the lens is relatively flat and compact. In this case, the lens has a fixed aperture of f/8, which in this case means reduced weight - the new Lumix S 26mm F8 weighs 58 grams, making it suitable for travel, for example.

The lens features a focus ring for manual focusing, the minimum focusing distance is 0.25 meters and the length is 18 mm. It is not possible to attach any filter to the lens.
The Panasonic Lumix S 26mm F8 has a recommended price of 2,990 kronor including VAT.
Panasonic also announces that they are developing the full-frame zoom lens Lumix S 18-40 F4.5-6.3. The lens has a minimum focusing distance of 0.15 meters and is suitable for landscapes, buildings, and portraits. More information will be provided when the lens is released.
