On May 24th, the art project Inside Out will arrive in Vällingby with a photo booth van where passersby can step in to have their portrait taken. The picture is developed in a large-scale format directly at Vällingby square.

Since the project was launched in 2011, over 500,000 people from 152 countries and territories have participated in the project, which involves participants taking large-scale black and white portraits that are then pasted up in public spaces to highlight a certain message.

- During my time in Vällingby, the square has meant a lot. So many encounters and everyday events that have shaped our operations. I am very pleased to be able to reflect this in an exhibition, says Olof Hanson, artistic director at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern Vällingby.

The Inside Out portraits will be hung up inside the Kulturhuset Stadsteatern Vällingby on May 24th and also on the glass facade facing the square. The exhibition will remain until October.

Everyone in the center is invited to have their portraits taken and see themselves reflected in a mosaic of society. The Inside Out booth will be at Vällingby Square on May 24th from 10:00 to 17:00. An Inside Out installation will also be visible at Sergels torg from May 23rd to 30th.
