Kate Winslet plays war photographer in the movie "Lee"

Alex Garland makes film about war photographer Elizabeth "Lee" Miller - coming this fall.

In the currently cinema-relevant Alex Garland movie "Civil War", we find Lee Smith, a war photographer who travels to Washington D.C. to photograph a conflict, played by Kirsten Dunst. The name Lee Smith alludes to the real-life war photographer Lee Miller.

And now it's time to also tell Lee Miller's story, this one too by Alex Garland. Kate Winslet is the actress who not only produces the upcoming autumn film "Lee", but also plays the war photographer Elizabeth "Lee" Miller. Lee Miller is the famous photographer who reported from the war during World War II and was also the first to document the use of napalm bombs.

Other roles are played by, among others, Alexander Skarsgård, Marion Cotillard, Andrea Riseborough, Andy Samberg, and Josh O’Connor - directed by Ellen Kuras.

The cinema premiere for "Lee" is September 27 in the USA.
